Machine Overview
  • Machine Name : Write One Drive
  • Title : Write One Drive
  • Short Description :
This machine uploads JSON or Excel files to Microsoft OneDrive. It accepts raw input data or the output of a dependent machine, converts JSON to Excel when required, and securely stores the final file in the configured OneDrive folder.
  • Detail Description :

The OneDrive Upload Machine automates the secure transfer of workflow files to Microsoft OneDrive. It accepts structured input data or directly utilizes the output from a dependent machine. Users can specify the desired file format—either JSON or Excel.

If the file type is set to Excel, the machine converts the provided JSON into a properly formatted Excel workbook before upload. If JSON is selected, the data is preserved as-is. The final file is assigned a user-defined filename to maintain consistency in the storage structure.

The upload process is powered by the Microsoft Graph API, using OAuth2 authentication with client ID, client secret, tenant ID, and target folder configurations. This ensures a secure and seamless file transfer from the workflow environment to your OneDrive storage.

By automating file preparation and cloud upload, this machine streamlines data backup, sharing, and inter-system integration across the PMS workflow.
