Machine Overview
  • Machine Name : Write One Drive
  • Title : Write One Drive
  • Short Description :
Write One Drive is an automated file delivery machine that securely uploads workflow data to Microsoft OneDrive in JSON or Excel format, enabling seamless data storage, sharing, and integration.
  • Detail Description :

    Write One Drive

The Write One Drive machine is designed to automate the secure transfer of workflow files to Microsoft OneDrive. It can accept structured input data directly or consume the output generated by a dependent machine within the workflow.

Users can configure the desired output file format as either JSON or Excel. When Excel is selected, the machine converts the provided JSON data into a properly structured and formatted Excel workbook before upload. When JSON is selected, the data is preserved in its original structure without modification. A user-defined filename can be specified to maintain consistent naming and folder organization.

The upload process is executed using the Microsoft Graph API with OAuth2-based authentication. Required credentials include client ID, client secret, tenant ID, and target folder details, ensuring a secure and authorized connection to the OneDrive environment.

By automating file preparation, format conversion, and cloud upload, the Write One Drive machine streamlines data backup, sharing, and cross-system integration, making it a reliable component within PMS and workflow automation pipelines.
